want to venture out from regular ole cotton embroidery floss? but maybe you're overwhelmed at the thought? let this gorgeous fiber sampler guide the way! it includes full sizes of silk floss skein, metallic tatting thread size 20, traditional tatting thread size 80, perle cotton, coton a broder size 25, delicate wool embroidery, and 1/3 hank of floche, and a bobbin of silk buttonhole twist. all the fibers come in various whites except the wool (ivory-ish) and mettalic tatting thread (iridescent).
of course, it's sewing, you do you, but this is how I like to use the fibers (in no particular order)
smocking: floche, perle cotton, coton a broder, silk floss (delicate look), metallic tatting thread, wool
hand embroidery: floche, wool, coton a broder, silk floss, metallic tatting thread (yes, you can even make bullions with this magically stuff!)
handsewn buttonholes: floche, coton a broder, perle cotton, tatting thread, and SILK BUTTONHOLE TWIST (game-changer!!)
